About Us
Modelkidsonline was started in 2007 by parents Sarah and Shamus after always hearing that their children could be models."Model agencies were always so expensive and so it was never something we could ever consider"
It was then that they decided to start a site of their own. A no strings, low fee modelling site was born, where parents can choose the pictures that go onto the site and do not have to pay for costly portfolios, magazines or website costs.
We wanted to have the opportunity to decide if our child was good enough and also what pictures we wanted to show to prospective clients.
We had always heard other parents who were unsure of which agencies were reputable and concerned about the high fees. We pride ourselves on our honesty, and will always strive to give everyone a fair chance. We have backgrounds in marketing and will be aiming for the clients direct which knocks out the middle man which gives the parent more control whilst keeping more money in their pocket.
Every child is beautiful and we don’t want to limit the possibilities - every child has the potential!

FAQ’s
Do you accept everyone who applies onto your books?Yes. We believe that parents have the right to show how beautiful and individual their child is. We also believe that for every campaign a client has, a different look is required therefore giving everyone a better chance of finding what they are looking for.
On joining Modelkidsonline can you guarantee my child work?
No. We will keep your details on the online database and forward your information on to our clients and then it is their decision as to which they see. No model agency can guarantee work. The only guarantee we give is that we are always constantly looking to expand out client base therefore giving your child maximum exposure.
Is there a fee to be represented by Modelkidsonline?
NO. The only fees we charge are the online registration fee, which covers basic site costs. The average agency cost can vary between £300-400 with an additional20-30% agency fee. We would welcome a voluntary donation of between 5-10% to help with costs but this is at your descretion. The models guardians will cover any transport fees unless otherwise stipulated by the client.
Why are Modelkidsonline so cheap compared to others?
We feel that you shouldn’t have to pay the earth to have the same opportunities as others. It doesn’t cost hundreds of pounds for a client to view your details and therefore feel that we shouldn’t charge you for the privilege. We do not produce expensive portfolio’s to send out to clients, it is after all the age of the internet and we believe that clients can access just as much on the net as opposed to a fancy booklet.
Will we be interviewed?
No. All the pictures of your child will be chosen and belong to you already. We believe you know your child better than anyone and will already have some fantastic pictures. Again this also keeps the cost down.
How much does It cost?
It costs £15 for six months or £25 for a year. This will enable you to change the photo of your child whenever you choose. The fee is a minimal one and covers our basic costs, compared to those of other agencies who charge anywhere from £150 to £500.
Are there any discounts available?
For those wishing to register more than one sibling, we are pleased to say that there are discounts available. For each additional child registered, the fee is just £15 per child as opposed to the standard £25 cost per child per year.
Is Modelkidsonline an agency?
No we are not an agency. Agencies will be the middle man between you and the client hence the initial costs involved and then taking a percentage of each succesful job. We do neither, which benefits both the clients and the parents.
How do you promote the site?
We have worked within the child modelling arena for a number of years thus building up quite a portfolio of clients who are not interested in whether a parent has paid £200-400 to sign up with an agency. At the end of the day they will be looking for a baby/child to fit their requirement. We keep in constant contact with these bookers whilst continually looking for new clients. Our portfolio of clients ranges from sportswear manufacturers, travel firms right the way to Blue chip companies and high street chains.
